There’s a Divine feeling in the Air
In the Morn so bright and cool.

The autumn, in its way, gently summoning
A Day to acknowledge something more
A Divine Presence in self and family
Kids and parents, onward they go

A place designated for worship and
Gathering of families with kids for prayer
A tradition, a way of doing things
Being present before the Sacred to
transcend the profanities of Daily grind.

An acknowledgement of a community
Nurtured by a way of life – tradition
Ancient – dating back to the first Millennium
A Disciple and his pathways in the
Southern subcontinental tip – Kerala.

Diasporic Migrants seeking to reunite
Ignite and preserve a worship style
Translated and reinvented, music and hymns
The power of words and the impact of tone
The spoken word, utterance and its flutter

Presence of the Divine – Nurturing, Saving, Empowering
Soul-lifting and gently presenting like the
light drizzly rainfall of autumn in Jersey.

Camp, Saint Francis
Beauty personified
Flocks of birds flying low over the waters.
The sound of the waves battering against the shore.
The Pacific Ocean, truly looking so calm and serene.
Me here again with my three friends.
Recalling real living, refreshing an old connection
